How do I improve my print quality when my output has white lines or is "streaky" or missing color? First, check to make sure your ink or toner levels are high enough to generate proper output. If the cartridge is less than 10% full, you may need to replace the cartridge. Otherwise, run the print head cleaning cycle 2 to 3 times, and possibly up to 5 times if your printer has sat unused for more than two weeks.
If poor quality still persists after the cartridge has been replaced, you may need to contact the printer manufacturer. If after replacing the cartridge with an Ink4Less cartridge you no longer get any printing please contact support. If after contacting support you still cannot use the cartridge, please make sure you received an RMA number and then visit our Return Policy page for instructions on return your product for a replacement. What do I do when my print cartridge is not being recognized the printer? First, make sure the plastic strip(s) covering the cartridge(s) vent holes has been removed. The strip is usually yellow or red in color. If the cartridge(s) is already in printer, remove it and power off the printer for at least 60 seconds. Next, power on the printer and reinsert the cartridge(s) and run the print head cleaning cycle 2 to 3 times using the printer's keypad or software supplied by the printer manufacturer. If this does not resolve the problem, contact Ink4Less.com Customer Support.
